It was built in 1895 at the request of industrialist John Pitcairn. Pitcairn was a Philadelphia magnate who dabbled in oil, coal, natural gas, and later in manufacturing. Today, the Gilded Age architecture of Cairnwood still stands with its lush gardens, outdoor fountains, veranda, and terrace. Inside the walls of the 26,00 square foot space, you’ll find a great hall, living room, library, music room, dining room, and billiard room. And the best part? A 30-foot OAK dance floor! Have you ever seen an Oak dance floor? GORGEOUS!

Cairnwood Estate is a wedding venue that delivers on sophistication. Your guest’s experience will begin when they arrive and are greeted by the high stone walls that make Cairnwood feel like a castle. Another amazing thing about hosting a wedding at Cairnwood Estate is that they only allow for one event per day. That means you & your guests will have the venue all to yourselves without the worry of a quick cut-off time, or another wedding happening at the same exact time as yours.

Cairnwood Estate weddings include a 5-hour reception package with the option to extend your reception until midnight. They also allow their couples to access the dressing suites (located on the second floor) up to 3 hours prior to the start of your wedding. Cairnwood Estate hosts weddings year-round and they are able to accommodate up to 250 guests.
