Stretched across Boathouse row on the Schuylkill River, lies Cescaphe Water Works. An impeccable Philadelphia wedding venue with a vintage gazebo and columned walkways that will feel as though you’ve stepped back in time.

Water Works by Cescaphe resides on the list of National Historical Landmarks. It’s also counted as one of Philadelphia’s most iconic locations. It’s an idyllic picturesque setting that combines old-world Philadlephia with new stories of modern-day romance. Weddings here are filled with views of the Schuylkill River and the skyline of Center City.

Water Works is a multi-faceted wedding venue with a selection of locations to host your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. In fact, it is the only one of Cescaphe’s wedding venues that provides an outdoor reception setting for weddings taking place during select months. Once your ceremony is complete your guests are invited to join cocktail hour inside the open-air tented veranda of The Engine House

Hosting your reception at Water Works includes two choices of location. The outdoor tented Mill House. Or indoors at The Engine House, which is home to their main ballroom. The Engine House is an opulent space accented by espresso-stained natural hardwood floors and glittering chandeliers. Selecting Water Works as your wedding venue is in essence carving out a piece of Philadelphia’s rich history to weave into the fabric of your love story.
